The hotel is also ideal for house parties, when a group of friends or relatives can have the house to themselves, choose their menus and dine together at one large table.
Guests are welcome to bring their own favourite wines, in which case a small corkage charge will be levied.

The
area is famous for its grouse, partridge and pheasant shooting and
during the season we welcome parties of up to 9 guns plus partners.
Our
set menus for shooting parties are more elaborate than standard
and include such delicacies as lobster, scallops, pheasant, local
grouse and venison, all cooked to a very high standard and received
with great enthusiasm by our guests.
