Places to Eat Out We are happy to assist you with finding good places to dine nearby. The George and Dragon in Aysgarth village is a traditional country inn with acclaimed restaurant 3/4 mile away; Hendersons is a bistro-style modern restaurant a short walk away and The Wensleydale Heifer, an award-winning gastro-pub, is just a 3 mile drive. There are also many pubs serving good bar food in the vicinity and in the market town of Leyburn, there is an Indian, Italian and Chinese restaurant.
